The solar industry is on a relentless drive toward grid parity, the point at which solar power costs the same or less than utility power. Many solar analysts predict that most major areas of the world will be at grid parity by 2015. SolarBridge Technologies reduces the time it takes to reach grid parity by making solar power more affordable. SolarBridge Technologies’ energy management system accomplishes this by dramatically improving reliability, increasing energy production, and lowering installation costs for solar systems.
The SolarBridge energy management system consists of three components:
- The SolarBridge Microinverter integrates directly with a PV module to directly provide AC power to the grid
- The Solar Information Module (SIM) collects and compiles system performance information from each microinverter and presents this information on a powerful console for analysis by the system owner
- The SolarBridge Remote Monitoring System allows system owners and operators to monitor system performance 24/7 via the internet
