Ron Van Dell is President and CEO of SolarBridge Technologies. Van Dell has an exceptional track record and proven leadership skills to complement his 25+ years of experience.  Most recently, he served as President and CEO at Primarion, a mixed signal semiconductor company, which became the leader in digital power management in four years, resulting in an acquisition by Infineon Technologies.  Before Primarion, he served as President and CEO at Legerity and in senior management positions at Dell, Harris Semiconductor, Groupe Schneider, Square D Company, and General Electric.  He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University.

 

Patrick Chapman, PhD is a co-founder and CTO of SolarBridge Technologies.  Dr. Chapman holds a PhD from Purdue University, and BS and MS degrees from the University of Missouri-Rolla, where he was named the 2009 Miner Alumni Association Distinguished Young Alumnus.  In addition, he is a recipient of the CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award, and the Richard M. Bass Outstanding Young Power Electronics Engineer Award.  Prior to joining SolarBridge full-time, Dr. Chapman was a tenured faculty member at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  He spent a total of ten years at Illinois, leading numerous research projects and publishing well over one hundred scientific articles.

 

Noel Foley is VP of Engineering for SolarBridge Technologies.  Most recently, he was employed by Dell Corporation as a Senior Manager. Prior to Dell, he held engineering positions at Lucent Technologies, Vicor Corporation, Computer Products, and GEC Telecommunications.  Foley has a strong background in design and engineering management with specific experience in compliance engineering and mechanical and electrical design. He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork, Ireland and an MBA from Boston College.

 

John B. Kennedy has worked with SolarBridge Technologies as VP of Finance and CFO since early 2009, and has 21 years of experience in finance and administration. Most recently he served as VP Finance and Administration for Primarion, a leading semiconductor company acquired by Infineon Technologies.  Before Primarion, he served as Director of Finance at ValueClick, Inc, where he headed up Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and M&A activities.  Prior to ValueClick, he held senior finance positions at Hotpaper.com (sold to GoAmerica), CBR Systems, and GameTek, where he was a key member of the leadership team that successfully completed the company’s IPO.  Mr. Kennedy holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Elmira College in New York.

 

Joe Lamoreux, VP of Operations of SolarBridge Technologies, has extensive leadership experience commercializing new products and managing global operations in the power electronics and PC industries. He was formerly CEO and vice president of operations at Coldwatt Inc., where he established global manufacturing, operations and product development, leading the company to a successful merger with Flextronics. As chief operating officer of Valence Technology, he helped drive the turnaround of the lithium-ion battery manufacturer. Lamoreux has also held senior management positions at Dell, Compaq and IBM. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.

 

Joseph Scarci is VP of Marketing for SolarBridge Technologies. He previously worked at American Power Conversion / Schneider Electric for 11 years, where he held several general management and senior marketing positions.  Prior to APC, he held product line management and marketing positions with Analog Devices and AT&T Corporation.  Scarci has an excellent track record of leading the growth and profitability of a variety of business units.  He has demonstrated strengths in marketing/product management, strategic planning, new product development, and sales.  He holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
